This recording was taken as it is named. Sitting in the hallway. Just listening to all the little sounds which are available. I wasn't intending to record anything specifically just everything generally.

This is a closet door being lightly closed. It's a fuller, deeper sound than other door recordings. It was recorded from inside the closet so there is very little backround noise or room reflections.

This is the helvetia paddle steamer boat of cgn fleet. It was moored to be renovate and repaired. Little waves make the boat pitch and the big metal rope linking the boat to the quay is producing these nice metallic noises. 48khz schoeps.

I'm trying to get some character to my modular sounds. This is a sequence with a sawtooth wave mixed with noise and joined in a vca that can distort a little. It's a vca i bought used. Don't think a new vca of the same sort distortes. I really like that. I little reverb is added to the sound. The sound is analog until it reaches the reverb. Sometime i will buy a spring reverb. Promise. But here, on the internet, the sound is digital anyway.

I got caught in a freak rainstorm whilst hiking a bit ago, but luckily had packed my h6 in my bag and was able to get some good little rain snippets! there's some super close sounding droplets hitting leaves, some wider pouring rain, and a bit of hand-held noise unfortunately, but i figured there's a little something for everyone here!. I combined an ambient bar crowd recording that i found here with a funky little back beat that i also found on this site and made a great cubicle noise blocker / filter. I use this at work with headphones on when i'm trying to concentrate and drown out conversations in the office. Also good for when i work from home and i'm trying to drown out the tv and other distractions. The crowd noise is excellent at diffusing regular office conversation and the little funky back beat keeps the crowd noise from getting boring. This works really well even at fairly low volume i. E. Here's the sound when danny phantom is going ghost! i'm told it also resembles the sound effect in the yu yu hakasho opening. The sound is just two white noise whooshes on top of each other, one descending in pitch and one with a little more resonance ascending in pitch. Made in hybrid3.

Pipes and drums playing outside a church after a funeral. No editing whatsoever. You can hear a few voices talking here and there and a little wind noise at one point, but overall it came out nice considering i recorded this on my phone.
